This is a watercolor, dip-pen (and sharpie background) for a show in my village's gallery called "women on the verge of a nervous breakdown", in french. taken from a photo

    I've always felt tremendous guilt over drawing from and referencing photographs (a friend used to tell me it wasn't 'real' art!)
    But you have lifted me up.

    After finding your great work I feel inspired.

  7. This is great! I was part of an art group once called 'Women on The Verge' we didn't specify what the verge was but a break down would have a good title. I really enjoy your characters Sophie, you have the knack of capturing expressions perfectly. About a book of my work, I have been trying but it is hard to get my foot in the door if you know what I mean. xx
