Would you please email me at claywriting@yahoo.com? I'm having trouble getting through to Elizabeth Riley at Norton, and I'd like to speak to you about an interview.
the eliza & abby pic is brilliant! the crotch blood i could have done without, but the sippy cup on the other hand is adorable! ;) lol... good stuff sophie!!
I absolutely love your drawings and you have inspired me to go dig out my sketch book and get back into it. I love your drawings and you seem to have great sense of humor! Thank you! Looking forward to following your blog!
Hi Sophie, I just found your blog and it's so great to see your drawings. i am teaching college kids drawing and keep trying to tell them how awesome and important it is to keep a regular sketchbook, but I don't think they ever really believe me... I will make a point to show them this blog and see if that helps. :)
Your drawings have such a great not perfect/perfect sense to them!
I have an art blog, too, if you want to have a look.
your blog is wonderful so far, keep it up! I love your drawings. Your style is reminicent of your fathers, yet you have so much of your own style coming through quite loudly! love it! your father is an inspiration to my work, and now you are too!
thanks for posting your work! - erin

Sophie, I read your interview in NY Times Magazine and was compelled to google you. I have this amazing thing I created, by accident, as most great things come to be. As soon as I saw uour work, I knew that it was you that could make it complete. Will you give me a chance to "pitch" it? It was only when EVERYONE who sees me, the first thing they say is "you have to do something with this, it is too hilarious" I'm going to have to go with the crowds that are urging me on. But, you are the missing link. Please email me @ itsnotaproject@gmail.com I can't find another way of contacting you! Thanks. :)
Great art and cool website. How can I buy some of your original art? I have some of Jesse's and Maxon's art, can't afford the big R or I would have that too.
Please let me know how to buy: farrow@EriksEdge.com
Marvellous surprise your work... From today I want to came here more often... Great surprise actually... If you wanna pass to my blog sometime, your're welcome...
sophie - i bought your book and love it. found it interesting on many levels. the only comic book i every owned was one you made that i picked up in oakland years ago. i was really struck by one story i remember and felt an instant like to you because of your honesty about all the ugly stuff that can come up in your 20's. i lived in SF through most of my 20's and some of it was really bleak. i live in a really small rural town in n. calif. now w/my 2 kids and feel happy to be alive and doing what i'm doing now. as i looked at each picture in the book yesterday i knew this was a unique and satisfying way to watch a girl's life unfold from that little kid openness to eventually seeing the world "as it is". i ended up turning to the end to see where you are now and was surprised and happy to see you back in france? beautiful drawings of the baby and the nusrsing "ouch" pic so sweet. today i'll go back to the middle and finish the book properly. very happy to own something so rich and unique as this book. well done, all 3 of you!
I love you and love the artwork a lot, glad I found your blog,
